    The World Pasty Championships 2017

West Cornwall Pasty Co are the names on everyones lips this March as we head to the sixth annual 'World Pasty Championships' hosted by The Eden Project on Saturday 4th March.

We will be entering four of our best-selling hand crimped pasties this year.

This is the line-up for the “Company Open Savoury”category.

    Our Traditional Cornish Pasty

Our Traditional Cornish Pasty has taken the crown twice before - and here's why: Proper job Cornish pasty made with fresh diced beef skirt layered over freshly chopped potatoes, swede and onion sprinkled with our own blend of salt and peppers

    The Jack's Pasty

Cornishman Jack Nowell and England Rugby Player has come on board as the WCPCo high profile brand ambassador for the next 3 years. We have even created a special pasty for him. The Jack's Pasty is a delicious `Peppered Steak Pasty' with a punch of pepper and mustard in a creamy sauce made with Trewithen's fresh dairy cream.

The Steak & Cornish Blue Pasty

Cornish by name and by nature. This is our twist on the classic Cornish! Made with fresh skirt beef and crumbled Cornish Blue Cheese from the Cornish Cheese Company's creamery on Bodmin Moor. Hand crimped in Falmouth!

    The Thai Green Vegetable Pasty

A special treat for vegetarians and vegans. A feast of green beans, green and red peppers, potato, sweet potato and onions with tasty Thai favourites - coconut, chilli, ginger, lime and lemongrass. This special pasty even comes topped with a crispy lemon and herb crumble sprinkle.

'Based in the Eden Project, Cornwall our World Pasty Championships will celebrate the traditional Cornish pasty recipe, as well as some more unusual varieties.
