At West Cornwall Pasty Company, it is our mission to respect, protect and preserve the traditional Cornish pasty, ensuring the authentic pasty lives on!
It’s is our vision to be the most beloved, hand crimped, Cornish pasty in the UK.
We are the passionate champions of our hand-crimped little wonders, sworn to tell the untold story of Cornwall’s culinary hero to the rest of the country. We are instilled with the Cornish spirit. Living and breathing the legendary landscape and special sea air, we celebrate the region’s language, people, and history.
We wear our Cornish name with pride and We seek to pass on the ways of the Cornish people – not just in making the best pasties the right way, but by staying true to our roots in being welcoming, generous and larger than life to everyone that wants to experience a little bit of our culture.

To get our legendary pasties, we search high and low for the most mouthwatering ingredients. Which means we’re always heading off on new adventures. In time gone by, it would be pirates who comb our coastline and all the hidden spots for bounty, and whilst pasties have always been for all, if people were forced to smuggle them out of Cornwall, they would

You don’t need to dig too deep to discover the many myths associated with Cornish miners. So many tales of these yesteryear heroes, toiling away, doing the hard, hard yards. Indeed, what was to become a universal cry of a million marches was originally the call from above that their pasties were ready, followed by their affirmative response: Oggi, oggi, oggi.. oi, oi, oi. If they knew they were West Cornwall Pasties, a yum, yum, yum, would certainly follow.
NeVeR KNoCk A PaSTy
In Cornish folklore, the Knockers are the spirits of people who had died in previous accidents in the many tin mines in the county. They’ll warn of any danger, and impending doom. And they’ll also talk positively and evocatively of the legendary stories baked into Cornwall. Like the delicious pasty – something never to be knocked!
